Meeting Essential Criteria
1. Demonstrating Design Skills
I used OBREDIMET design for project 6 click here to go to OBREDIMET
I have used this design tool on several of my projects and find it simple and quick to use I am now automatically working through this design system without having to think about it.
I used SADIM for project 7 Click here to go to SADIM which is even more simplistic.
There was a bit of a time lapse between project 7 and 8 and 9 and I found that with project 8, 9 and 10 I started the design and realised I was completing designs automatically without having refer and mark the different stages as in SADIM and OBREDIMET which means the design systems are now automatic. Click here to go to project 8.
I also wanted to bring in interesting and varied mediums of presenting my projects and included video Click here to go to project 7 and pictorial story telling to avoid to much text and appeal to people who worked better with visual mediums. Click here to view project 8.
Project 10 was built around telling the story of all 9 projects and presenting it in a creative simplistic way to using basic text and pictures

My projects covered a variety of subjects mostly applied to people so I was able to explore a wide variety of different ways to present the designs while working with the basic format to appeal to all abilities and ages, this was further helped by working closely with my mother who has dementia. I was able to identify a range of different methods and media to help establish communication with her.
Completing the PTLLS teaching course also helped me to focus my designs into a simple format to enable me to deliver and present courses with more confidence and target learning outcomes for students and audiences Click here to go to project 9. As I had already explored different methods of teaching and presentation in project 5 I now pushed the boundaries and utilized the materials I designed to obtain land learning status for Orchard Barn Click here to go to course gallery
2. Applying Permaculture in my own life
All of the projects I embark on have permaculture ethics and principles applied to them and is an automatic part of my thinking process. and all of the projects I have designed have been trailed and completed first on me.
Project 6 Earning a living was about exploring different ways of meeting my needs in alternative ways without using money and also earning a living in a balanced and sustainable way while observing permaculture principles at the same time. Click here to go to Design
Project 7 spiritual connection to the earth explored the close spiritual connection to nature in my opinion an important and primary foundation in permaculture and also practiced by me.
I work closely with the spiritual connectivity with the earth and nature and explored ways of merging that connection into the courses I ran while also covering Permaculture principles Click here to go to project 7
3. Applying permaculture to your work and projects
I apply permaculture to my projects and work as a mater of course and approached applying permaculture principles to many varied subjects not just land based ones and presented different ideas and edges to stimulate alternative ways of approaching a project Click here to go to permaculture principles pro 6 .
In project 7 spiritual connection I stacked functions in the power point presentation by utilizing it 3 ways:
1.Using the Power point for Permaculture your garden course to document the building of the projects from March 2013 to October 2013
2.Using the Power point as a presentation to demonstrate how we built the projects on courses and talks
3.Demonstarting Permaculture principles for part of my diploma and on courses.

I also approached applying permaculture to a variety of different projects from a different perspective Click here to go to project 7 principles and Click here to go to project 8.
Meeting complementary Criteria
4.Dissemination
Sharing my designs and the information I have learned with a wider audience is done in several ways:
1.Through this website
2. Via teaching and co teaching courses
Click here to go to project 8
Click here to go to pro 8 Land learning
Click here to go to Haglekulture course
3.Via talks and presentations to groups and individuals Weaving the Web
Click to go to project 8
4.Via festivals sharing skill knowledge

5.Community building
I encouraged a lot of skill sharing and bartering with various groups (off shoots from Weaving the Web ) see project 6
Click here to go to Implement .
We incorporated having fun into the learning/sharing experience combining food shares, networking and socialising at the same time.
6.symmetry
It became more difficult to assess and review my peers projects after project 8 as the peer group lost contact with each other. My original tutor pulled out around project 5 and I managed to keep the momentum going until project 8 but the connection now been lost despite trying to keep it going and the geographical differences.
