SADIM
I decided to try a different format on this project to see if it worked any better, so I have gone for SADIM.
I have also decided to do a mind map of the Permaculture principles to explore different methods of presenting information and save time.

ANALYSE
I have the basic format for a website and will use Weebley as the website design and apply the same format from my Pdc website to build a website to connect to Weaving The Web.
I have collected infornation from various sources since Weaving The Web Gatherings began to build a connecting website.
I also need to put it in a format that people will find interesting the mini showcase of skills has video footage connected to each one
so people can get a small taster of what they do,this is backed up with a short write up.
Eventualy I hope to include mini tutorials of courses and skills to encourage people to try them out.
Resources
Inputs for the website;
Photos and video footage of each months Gatherings to showcase what was covered .
Database of photos,video footage and write ups of individual people with skills.
What profesional resources will I need to start building the site
Weebley web site design is one I have already used to design my diploma website which is simple to use.
Using Utube,by down loading directly on to utube and linking to it will avoid slowing down my website and using up to much memory.
Photo shop and Picaso to edit and upload photo's for website.
Will people use it how can I check that it is interactive and gage feedback from people;
Feedback will come from emails and forums.

Implement
The website was straight forward to build and as I had been collecting video footage and photographs of events,therapists and
skills, I had allready downloaded the photos and video on to the computer and documented them so I only had to download them on to Utube and link them to the website.
Maintain
It took to long to build the initial website for my diploma due to teething problems with my computer;
Not enough memory resulting in the building process taking to long.
The downloading of photo's and video footage was taking three times as long as it should.
The system also kept freezing adding to the frustration when time was short.
Once the problems had been resolved by sending it to be fixed I found it easy to build the second site for weaving the web.
The site is now relativley easy to maintain I recieve regular updates via email from people for up coming events which are posted on the website.
I regularly network at events that I attend to source more skilled people to put on the website to keep building the data base of skills.
I am curently working on putting mini tutorials for a selction of different crafts and skills on to the website to engage interest.
The Gatherings are taking a break from June to september so the website will be an important factor to keep interest going and provide a focal point.
The website is updated once a week with events, I am also working on linking the events calender with a simular website so that there is no double handling
I am meeting with the other website designer to map out ideas.
The site for weaving the webs is an interactive website so will add Blogs email to promote the permaculture side
Time
Building the initial website took 50 hours, finding out what worked and what didn’t
The weaving the web site took 12 hours to build and then to add each therapist /craft etc as I do them, will take about an hour.
Down loading videos on to Utube takes on average 30 minuets.
Linking video footage from Utube to my website takes about 5 minuets.
Down loading photos up to 2 to 3 minuets each
The Computer had to be updated to be able to build the websites it ran out of memory and was freezing constantly.
Costs
Updating cleaning down files and adding memory to the computer £50.
I did consider scraping the old computer but decided to keep and update it and retro fit rather than use energy and resources for a new one.
Camera on long-term loan.
The websites are free as long as you use the basic model if you want anything fancy pro weebley you have to start paying.
Tweek
The website has been up and running for 6 months, and I have been revaluated the website over the past month by monitoring the feedback I have been getting and also checking the hits on the website.
The interactive part of the website is not working as well as I would have liked, and is not being used by the people it was aimed at,
so after doing some research on social media networks and attending a new business seminar on media, I have decided to link
the website to face book. People are more inclined to use it as they don’t feel threatened or intimidated by it, it would also be instant advertising and feedback of events and ideas that I want to put on.
The Weaving The Web gatherings are currently up to 50 people and my only concern is that by connecting it to Face book it might attract to much attention and become unmanageable.
I could also connect it to the Phoenix Festival another venture which I organised and ran with a friend, this is a larger version of Weaving Web offering, music, crafts and therapies, put on twice a year.
