WORKING WITH NATURE NOT AGAINST IT
Applying this to people has been interesting working with human nature, it is about taking their strengths talents and skills and working with those areas to encourage and nurture their skills and passion to enable that person to become a more holistically balanced person.
Even working with the less desirable parts of the character laziness/ strong personalities/shyness etc. I have used this as a plus not a minus, harnessing these parts to aid the process. strong characters can be used to drive a project forward, shy timid ones can assist other less confident people.
Applying this to Ben who is very easy going and open to change we harnessing that positive attitude of his nature and steered him in a more focused direction towards utilising his juggling skills. We did a goal map to give him steps towards obtaining his goals.
USING RESOURCES AT HAND
I have applied this by utilising the talents and skills that they have and also using network systems of people that they have access to .
I have also utilised any business facilities and groups of people in the towns/villages where they live relative location
with Ben and Carole I looked closely at the networks of people and places to use any resources that would help towards the final goal in Ben's case it was his juggling club providing the contacts for the circus /friends and family and village for gardening and odd jobs.
