The evening went well, I faced a few challenges see 3P's but the format for the talk flowed well, combining
a good mix of speakers, audience participation in the talk presenattion and the open forum at the end of that section.
The presenattion of what Permaculture is to me opened them up to that permaculture is a set of design tools that can be applyed to any area of life and not just growing food.
The audience became readily involved in the presenation, and from the questions asked in the open forum they seemed to be taking
on board the message behind permaculture taking responcibility and understanding that they could become actively involved
with permaculture in their lives.
Working with the senses helped to keep the presentation fun and exciting increasing information absorbtion.
There was plenty of information available to help anyone who wanted to become involved with Permaculture.
The skills learning sesion was a success, with most people trying out most of the skills available to them, there was also tai chi and music going on at the same time.
Tweek
Feed back from the presentation was positive, people confirmed they enjoyed the different approach to the talk, found it informative
and fun, they also confirmed that they would like to see that format on other taster sessions.
I had about 40% interest in setting up some Permaculture projects and a few said they would be interested in doing some permaculture courses.
would I change the format yes slightly I would like to research more into creative teaching methods and go on a course
