Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design
1. Criteria Assessment Summary Sheet- Interim Review Process.
Name: Sue Burton
Date of PDC:
Date now:
The basic review involves looking back on my work so far and showing how I have been working;
· Criteria (All the Essential & Complementary shown below)
· How I meet it (examples and reflections)
· Where I evidence it in my portfolio (Digital links, references)
Meeting Essential Criteria
1. Demonstrating Design Skills
2. Applying permaculture in my own life
3. Applying permaculture to my work and projects
Meeting Complementary Criteria
4. Dissemination
5. Community Building
6. Symmetry
7. Evaluation and Costings
2. Outcome Analysis- Interim Assessment Review
In addition I would like everyone to compile their 3P’s, Personal, Project and Professional development. This may be in list form, mindmaps, etc.
Use this as an opportunity to celebrate all the things you have learnt so far on this Diploma journey, document it all, even seemingly little things! You can
also organize this in a different way if that suits, eg, if you are using Integral theory you could map your progress/ outcomes on this to see where you
might shift focus for the remaining year. Be colorful, celebrate this milestone!
3. Reflection on Pathway Progression
A review process of your initial pathway design. What is going well with this? What has been challenging? Have things changed? Why? How? Do you need
to shift focus for the remaining year to meet your learning needs? What gaps in your knowledge have you identified? How will you meet these? Does the original
pathway need totally redesigning?
This could be a written reflection, mind maps, overlays on top of the original pathway. This is a reflection process to see how to leverage our
focus to get what we want out of the remaining time.
How are Peer Reviews going? What have you learnt from this process? How have guilds been functioning? Do we need to redesign for this
year?
4. CV Update
Have a look at your CV made at the beginning of the Diploma process. Does this need updating? Can you jazz it out? Include an up to date CV
with experiences relevant to your progress in this pathway.
Please make sure your PR 1- 5 are complete and online. Your Peer Reviews, guild meeting notes, check in notes, etc, must all be loaded onto
Appendixes. Your 3P’s and other self Reviews, etc , should also be there. Make sure your portfolio is presentable, easy to navigate, links work,
etc.
All this work should be loaded into a separate Interim Assessment Appendix at the back of PR5. When this is complete email me your self-review and
confirm the Portfolio is up to date. Anyone wishing for their Interim Assessment at the Diploma Gathering will need to book appointments with me before hand and
we shall do others after this event.
We shall then have a clear sense who is still on program and make new guilds/ peer reviews, deadline dates, etc, accordingly.
Onwards!
