People
This project is about designing a system to utilize the tools of permaculture to assist people to empower themselves to take responsibility and direction for their lives, to push their boundaries and expand their lives.
By observing how people interact and work with each other and the difficulties that they encounter in moving forward towards achieving goals, I discovered a need for a tool that could be used readily to deal with self destructive behaviour.

Synopsis
Combining Carole’s love of French dancing and her retailing experience of selling vintage clothes she could use her dancing classes as an outlet to sell/showcase firstly altering dresses for the dancing and then thee introduction of the vintage clothes. This could be combined with selling the cards and any other creative crafts Carole felt she was happy to produce with no pressure.
Carole has good organisational skills, which could be put to good used in this venture.
This venture could also be shared with a partner or co-operative to make it more enjoyable and could be merged with the love of travel by visiting dancing festivals /village halls and funded by earning money from the retail side of the business.
I feel Carole’s need for spontaneity and excitement could be met with the combination of dancing and selling/showcasing dresses and travelling around, she could also buy a camper van to travel around in.
Carole’s love of gardening and producing food could be combined with a village cooperative or transition town this way she could turn it in to a social event shared with others share her knowledge of horticulture of horses and the gypsy caravan could come in handy.
She has an interest in self sustainability and by becoming involved in groups of people interested in this way of life transitions towns/village co-operatives she could form networks of knowledge from different people.
Growing food could be done as a group so that the heavy work is shared and a gluts of the vegetables and fruit could be swapped.
This would also satisfy Carole’s love of nature and walking it would also cover exercise and fresh air.
Carole has a spiritual connection with the earth, which could also be satisfied by producing fruit and vegetables.
I feel she has a need to connect with people and has a healing gift that could be delivered by connecting to people through the dancing and selling of her skills.
